It's Getting Hotter, HMI Tarakan Branch, Dedy's Camp, Sends Evidence For Nurul Aksar's Camp, Which Is Unconstitutional

JAKARTA - The leadership dualism of HMI Tarakan Branch is still ongoing. After the XI Branch Conference on October 28, 2021, the leadership of the HMI Tarakan Branch resulted in twin leadership between the general chairman Dedy Syarkani and the general chairman Nurul Aksar.

Both of them are throwing claims at each other as if to emphasize that each party feels the most legitimate. The General Chairperson of the HMI Tarakan Branch version, Dedy Syarkani, said that his party was currently waiting for the results of the lawsuit that was filed by his side at the HMI Executive Board since November 11, 2021.

His party also doubted the PB HMI decision letter dated March 5, 2022 which ratified General Chair Nurul Aksar, whose inauguration was carried out by the Secretary General of PB HMI, Ichya Alimuddin. The reason is that until now the lawsuit from the Dedy Syarkani camp is still ongoing and there has been no official answer from PB HMI.

"It should be noted that our lawsuit is still ongoing at PB HMI. Even though they (Nurul Aksar) received a decree from PB HMI and have been inaugurated, we still consider it unconstitutional, and the Secretary General has shown an example of a bad leader in solving problems at HMI," said Dedy in Jakarta, Saturday 23 April.

It is known that the management of HMI Tarakan City, Dedy Syarkani's stronghold, currently has the recognition of the Tarakan City Cipayung Plus group. As long as there has been no official answer or PB HMI's stance on the lawsuit, his party has maintained its stance in refusing the issuance of Nurul Aksar's decree.

According to him, Nurul Aksar is the general chairman who was elected through a conference that is not in accordance with the trial mechanism or is illegal.

"What's the story, he made a follow-up forum without confirmation of the forum participants, which had previously been agreed to be pending. Even though the forum which lasted until 4 in the morning was deliberately postponed because the participants were tired and needed rest," he said.

His party regretted the attitude of PB HMI, in this case Secretary General Ichya Alimuddin, who without clarity did not respond to the lawsuit that was filed and seemed partial.

"We actually want to know what PB HMI's attitude is regarding the lawsuit that we filed. Is there any kind of written study or mediation between the two parties in the case of PB HMI's handling of conflicts within the branch scope," he said.

Not only PB HMI, his party also intensively communicates with Badko HMI Kaltim-Kaltara so that Badko becomes a mediator for this conflict. It's just that there is no serious effort by Badko in mediating this issue and seems to be looking for safety.

"We just don't want HMI in Tarakan to exhibit bad behavior. How are we going to raise this Association while letting there are people with ambitions of power and they justify any means to get it," he said.

He continued, his party was basically open to dialogue, but according to him, the other side did not provide a good response and ethics in dealing with this conflict.

"Don't just because you have access to the PB HMI management, it's a smooth road to get unconstitutional legality. Moreover, this group is suspected of having a bad track record at HMI Tarakan Branch, let alone leading," he said.

Finally, Dedy emphasized that his party will not be afraid to face this dynamic. His party continues to communicate with PB HMI to straighten out this conflict.

"In Tarakan we have a large and dominant mass base compared to them. Moreover, in terms of existence, progress and recognition from external parties, we have it, even though at this time we do not have the legality of the decree. Therefore, we hope that a decision will be issued from the PB HMI so as to strengthen the ranks, " he added.
