JAKARTA - The government continues to distribute aid to the community in the month of Ramadan 2022. The assistance provided is not only in the form of money, but also food packages.

On Friday, April 22, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Ida Fauziyah, distributed aid in the form of 1,500 food packages to informal workers. This assistance was provided at three points in Jakarta and Bekasi.

In her speech, the Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah, said that the assistance was a form of concern for others. He also asked the beneficiaries not to see the value of the package given.

"We don't give much. Ladies and gentlemen, don't look at the value, but the important thing is the togetherness, our friendship to all of you, ladies and gentlemen," said the Minister of Manpower, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 23.

On this occasion, the PKB politician appealed to the public to continue to apply strict health protocols. He reminded, the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet.

"Stay disciplined in maintaining health procedures. Wear a mask. If you don't have a booster, then a booster first. Especially if you want to go home tomorrow. If you have a booster, the homecoming will be comfortable," he said.

One of the recipients of basic food packages from Pejuang Village, Medan Satria District, Bekasi City, Khodijah (50) admitted that he was happy with the provision of basic food packages from the Minister of Manpower.

Khodijah said that basic food assistance was important at a time when the prices of many basic necessities were increasing. The aid is also important because it is approaching Eid.

"I thank the Minister. I am happy and grateful to have been given this assistance. This helps for our needs," he said.

The distribution of basic needs at the three locations is part of the SAPA ASIK (Socialization Without Physical Contact) Employment Social Security Program organized by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
