KKB Spreads Terror Again, Burns PT MTT Building In Puncak Regency

PAPUA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) has once again spread terror in Papua. This time, the KKB led by Luki Murib set fire to a building belonging to PT Martha Tunggal Teknik (MTT) located in Gome District, Puncak Regency.

"The KKB, which is suspected to be the leader of Luki Murib, burned the PT Martha Tunggal Teknik building," said Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in his statement, Saturday, April 23.

This terror act was discovered after a thick cloud of smoke appeared on Friday, April 22. The joint TNI-Polri team immediately rushed to the scene.

However, the whereabouts of the perpetrators are no longer found. From the information received, the group led by Luki Murib had fled towards the hills.

"From the results of the monitoring, it is known that the perpetrators have fled towards the Snake Hill," said Kamal.

Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries behind the terrorist acts. Joint personnel continue to patrol and guard crime-prone areas.

"After the incident, the situation was safe, joint personnel remained on standby to anticipate the actions of the KKB," said Kamal.
