Harun explained, there were 290 cannabis plants that were secured by the police when they were arrested at the perpetrator's apartment, in the Bekasi City area.
"(So) there is another full room filled with cannabis plants. At that time we immediately confiscated it," he said.
Harun said, MM and AA bought the seeds for IDR 200 thousand in November and December 2019. Then they were cultivated until they finally began to be distributed in 2021.
"From the results of this planting, the suspect has been circulating for approximately eight months with a profit of 40 million," he said. "For sales, they sell 10 grams of this for Rp. 3.5 million. Some are ready to distribute 24 packs."
Harun also said, based on the perpetrator's confession, the profits from the illicit business were used on a daily basis.
"Their first motive is because they consume this type of marijuana every day and the profit is used for their daily needs," he concluded.
