4 Extortion Suspects Detained At The Surakarta Police Headquarters, Bripda PPS Police Who Became A Plot Still Being Treated In Hospital

SOLO - Four suspects in an extortion plot that were arrested by members of the Resmob Polres of Surakarta City, Central Java are currently still being held at the Mapolresta detention center.

Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak said the four suspects had the initials SNY (22), Semarang Regency resident, ES (36), Pati Regency resident, RB (43) and TWA (39), each from Surakarta City.

The police officer, Bripda PPS, who was involved in the case is undergoing treatment at the Dr Morwardi Solo Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in good condition, under close supervision by local police officers.

He explained that based on investigations and investigations, the extortion gang confessed that they had taken action 15 times in Boyolali, Klaten, Solo, and Semarang regencies.

The police chief explained that the gang extorted targets by accessing jasmine hotels. Indications of the victims having an affair were then documented to be used as extortion material by the gang.

Previously, the Central Java Police succeeded in uncovering the reason why police shot each other in the Makamhaji area, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java on Tuesday (19/4), at around 16.00 WIB.

The perpetrators will be charged with Article 368 regarding extortion or Article 369 concerning threats or Article 335 of the Criminal Code regarding unpleasant acts.
