JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters encourages the imposition of strict sanctions in the form of Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH) to two individuals from the Bahyangkara Corps with the initials CA and SL. They are suspects in the shooting of Makassar Transportation Service (Dishub) employee Najamuddin in Makassar.

"In principle, the National Police Headquarters encourages all Polda to have the courage to take firm steps, whoever is found guilty, take firm action until PTDH," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to VOI, Friday, April 22.

The PTDH sanction is also considered as the police's firmness towards all its members who violate the rules. Especially when it comes to committing a crime.

The two police officers, CA and SL, were named suspects for helping in the shooting series. Even the suspect CA is the executor.

On the previous occasion, Makassar Police Chief Kombes Budhi Haryanto said the planning to kill Makassar Transportation Service (Dishub) employee Najamuddin Sewang began in 2020.

"Based on the suspect's confession, this planning has been going on since 2020 and has only been implemented now," said Budhi.

He said that he had attempted murder in 2020, but failed and was only able to realize his intention in 2022 or to be precise on Sunday, April 3 morning, on Jalan Danau Tanjung Bunga around the Cheng Ho Mosque, at 10:00 WITA.

In the 2020 assassination plot, MIA, the mastermind behind the crime, ordered someone to throw something at the victim's house. But at the time it failed.

The motive for the murder of Najamuddin Sewang was because of jealousy. The victim is known to have also approached his lover who is also an echelon IV official at the Makassar Transportation Agency with the initials R.

According to him, both the victim, the perpetrator, and the woman being contested were in the same office as the victim at the Makassar Transportation Agency. Suspect Iqbal Asnan (MIA) served as Acting Head of the Makassar Transportation Agency in 2018 and was later transferred and inaugurated as Head of Makassar Satpol PP in 2021.

"This is a love triangle, an illicit relationship. The planning of murder in 2020 and only now has been realized. It's all because of the fire of jealousy," he also said.

Meanwhile, in that case, the police named five suspects, each with the initials MIA (Kasatpol PP Makassar), SU, CA, AS, and SL.

MIA or Iqbal Asnan acted as the mastermind of the murder, assisted by four other people as planners and executioners.
