Bogor Police Alert 1,421 Joint Personnel During Operation Ketupat

BOGOR - Bogor City Police have alerted 1,421 joint TNI/Polri personnel in securing the Ketupat Operation to welcome the Lebaran 2022 homecoming which will begin on Friday, April 22 tomorrow. The Head of Bogor City Police, Kombes Susatyo Purbomo Condro, said that the police and the TNI had prepared six security posts for the 2022 Eid homecoming.

"Tomorrow we will carry out the ketupat operation which anticipates homecomers and migrants in the Bogor City area who are part of the national operation, namely the diamond operation," said Susatyo as quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 21.

He said the security point would be centered at the Baranangsiang Police Post in front of the Baranangsiang Terminal.

Details of the security post points for Lebaran homecoming will be announced at the Ketupat Operation apple on Friday (22/4) morning.

The Lebaran homecoming security post will also function as a vaccination service post for both the first and second doses to booster vaccinations required by the government to be able to carry out Lebaran homecoming.

Previously, on Wednesday, April 13, the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) Budi Setiyadi said the government had prepared a free homecoming quota for Eid 2022 for 21,000 people in the Greater Jakarta area transported by 700 buses.

The Ministry of Transportation also provides transportation for 2,000 people's motorbikes who go home for free. This activity is planned to be carried out from 27, 28, and 29 April 2022.

The Head of the Bogor City Transportation Service, Eko Wibowo, said that for the City of Bogor, the free homecoming quota prepared by the Ministry of Transportation was 15 buses.

However, the certainty of the number of buses serving travelers will be determined by the online registration of travelers.
