657 Racers Who Have Registered, BSD Street Race Preparation Reaches 90 Percent

TANGERANG - Approaching the opening of the Street Race on Raya Boulevard Street, BSD, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency. Directorate of Traffic Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo, said the readiness of the track had reached 90 percent.

"I think it's 90 percent ready for the track", said Sambodo at the location, Thursday, April 21.

Even though it has reached 90 percent, Sambodo admits that his party continues to check the Street Race track. The goal is to ensure the safety of the participants.

"We will continue to make final checks, including we are supervised by friends, especially to check related to safety factors, hopefully, this event can take place safely, smoothly and orderly", he said.

Sambodo explained that the participants who registered in the BSD Street Race had reached 657 racers. They are divided into two- and four-wheeled vehicles.

"The first day 300 racers. On the 2nd day, the 300 racers are for the motorcycle class which is divided into 9 classes. Then for the last day, it will be for cars. And for motorcycles and so far there have been 57 car racers registered", he explained.

In this racing event, the Street Race will be held on April 22-24. Later it will start from noon until evening.

"Because we start at noon because this is the month of fasting until it will stop before the Maghrib Adhan", he said.
