NTT Sikka Community Don't Worry, Bulog Guarantees Enough Rice-Sugar Stock During Ramadan

NTT - Head of Bulog Regional Sub-Division Maumere Stephanus Kurniawan ensured that the stock of rice and sugar in Sikka Regency, NTT was sufficient to meet the needs of the community during the month of Ramadan until the moment of Eid 2022.

"The stock of rice for Eid is safe, we have 1,000 tons of rice and 25 tons of sugar," said Head of Bulog Regional Sub-Division Maumere Stephanus Kurniawan in Maumere, Antara, Wednesday, April 20.

To support the fulfillment of community needs, Bulog, the Maumere Regional Sub-Division, provides Lebaran Food Packages and Market Operations which will last until early May 2022.

In the Lebaran Food Packages, Bulog provides four basic food packages at affordable prices. The first package is priced at Rp. 50 thousand, package two is Rp. 100 thousand, package three is Rp. 125 thousand, and package four is Rp. 150 thousand.

The food ingredients provided are varied, including 5kg of Kita Rice, granulated sugar, instant noodles, tea bags, soy sauce, and milk. To get this basic food package, the public can visit the Bulog Office of the Maumere Regional Sub-Division or the contact number listed on the poster for the Eid food package.

In addition to providing Eid food packages, the Head of Bulog Regional Sub-Division Maumere is involved in Market Operations with the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) in order to maintain price stability for basic and important goods ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H in 2022.

In this activity, Bulog provides medium rice at a price of Rp. 9,000 including premium rice and Fortivit rice. The market operation will take place from April 12 to May 4, 2022.

He hopes that the efforts taken by Bulog can provide comfort for the availability of rice and sugar stocks in Maumere, Sikka. Bulog will also continue to try to help the community in meeting their basic daily needs.

"So people don't need to worry and worry because rice stocks are safe," he said.
