JAKARTA - Beedar posted on a number of social media accounts regarding the beating of an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) Shopee Food at the west junction of Mirota Campus, Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta. The police confirmed that the motorcycle taxi driver was beaten by his own friend until his face was bruised.

This confirmation was conveyed by the police based on checks carried out by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gondokusuaman Police. The team checked posts on social media with narratives of ojol victims of street crimes that occurred in Blimbingsari, the border between the Yogyakarta City area and Sleman Regency,

“From this activity, it was found that the incident was not a street crime and it was found that the eye injuries suffered by the victim were the result of beatings by his own friend in the Jalan Kaliurang area. The victim was then brought by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sleman Police to the East Depok Police/Sleman Police for further efforts," the police statement said.
