JAKARTA - A member of the worker handling public facilities and infrastructure (PPSU) of the Petogogan sub-district, Suhadi (55) died after being hit by a car on Jalan Wijaya I, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 14, in the morning.

The Head of Petogogan Village, Sunardi, confirmed that one of his members was killed by a car. According to Sunardi, the incident began when Suhadi left at dawn, he was sweeping the road. Suddenly, a Toyota Avanza came and hit him.

"It is suspected that the driver of the car fell asleep while driving the vehicle. The driver is suspected to be a woman," said Sunardi when confirmed, Thursday, April 14.

Sunardi said the victim died at the location. Even so, it was the responsibility of the car driver to take the victim back to his hometown.

"It was the responsibility of the person who crashed into the victim's village to take him to the victim's village," said Sunardi.

Sunardi said the accident case had been resolved amicably. Based on the information obtained, the victim's family has forgiven the driver of the car.

"The information is that the family has received an apology from the person who crashed into it. There may also be compensation. We are currently taking care of the victim's BPJS Employment," he said.
