Save Ade Armando, Six Police Become Victims Of Intruder Violence

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran said six of his members were also victims of mass violence at demonstrations in the area of the Indonesian Parliament Building. They were targeted when evacuating Ade Armando from the crowd.

"Six of our members were injured," said Inspector General Fadil to reporters, Monday, April 11.

However, this two-star general did not clearly explain the injuries suffered by his members. It was only conveyed, that six of his men had received treatment. Fadil also promised to arrest the perpetrators of the beating. In fact, the identity of the alleged perpetrator has been pocketed.

"According to my promise, I will take firm action against anyone who violates the law, infiltrates, who is the mastermind and orders everything to happen. Hopefully we can reveal the perpetrators soon," he said.

On the other hand, Fadil stated that the perpetrators were suspected of deliberately committing violent acts. They provoke the emotions of the police officers to fight back.

The goal is to turn the peaceful student demonstrations into chaos.

"There is a group that deliberately fishes in cloudy water whose intention is not to hold a demonstration to express opinions, but indeed their intention is to cause riots," said Fadil.
