JAKARTA - Indra Kenz's girlfriend, Vanessa Khong, has been named a suspect in the fraudulent investment case under the guise of Binomo trading. The suspect was determined because Vanessa received a flow of funds related to money laundering.

"Brother VK played a role in receiving the flow of funds from Brother IK in the amount of Rp. 1.1 billion," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Monday, April 11.

Based on the results of the investigators and previous investigations, Vanessa Khong is suspected of having received land in the South Tangerang area from her lover. The nominal amount is IDR 7.8 billion.

Investigators also blocked Vanessa Khong's account. However, the number of accounts and the nominal money in the blocked accounts have not been detailed.

"Furthermore, investigators also blocked the account belonging to brother VK," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, Rudiyanto Pei or the father of Vanessa Khong, said Ramadhan, also received a cash flow. The nominal is Rp. 1.5 billion.

Bareskrim previously named three new suspects in fraud cases under the guise of investing through the Binomo platform. Now, there are a total of seven suspects in the case.

The three new suspects are the younger brother of Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz, namely Nathania Kesuma, Indra's girlfriend Vanessa Khong, and Vanessa's father, Rudiyanto Pei. They were named suspects because they received the flow of funds.

All three are suspected of being under Article 5 and/or Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering and Article 55 Paragraph 1e of the Criminal Code. Then, the three new suspects will be questioned on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
