Chemical Warehouse In Cengkareng, West Jakarta On Fire

JAKARTA - A fire broke out in a chemical warehouse building on Jalan Cikas Raya No. 68 RT 2/8, Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Saturday night. Based on information from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Service, through the Twitter account @humasjakfire, which was quoted in Jakarta, Saturday, April 9, it was stated that the fire occurred at 20.46 WIB.

Quoted from ANTARA, as many as 13 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.

In his appeal, the firefighters asked the local residents to entrust the extinguishing process to the officers, because it was feared that an explosion would occur from inside the chemical warehouse.

"The appeal to residents around the TKP is not to get too close, trust the #DAMKARDKI officers who are on duty. Because the TKP is a Chemical Warehouse building, they are afraid of the potential for an explosion at the TKP," wrote the account @humasjakfire.

Separately, the Twitter account @TMCPoldaMetro informed that as of 22.08 WIB, firefighters were still trying to extinguish the fire.
