The Action Of Children In Tangerang City Blocks Trucks For Social Media Content, Mayor: It's Just Hercules

TANGERANG - There are many actions by children in the Tangerang City area to block the speed of trucks on the highway in order to create social media content (social media). As a result, collision incidents are unavoidable.

The Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin, said he was concerned about the actions of these middle-aged children. The most recent collision after the action of intercepting the truck occurred on Thursday 7 April.

"It has often come to our attention, but over and over again, our brothers and sisters who create content that hold trucks back have ended up in an accident," said Komarudin at the WHTR Pokja 'Ngopi Items' discussion, Tangcity Mall, Tangerang City, Thursday, April 7 .

Luckily the lives of the children were still able to be saved, the victim only suffered minor injuries. "The victim was treated, he was injured," he said.

Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah who was present at the discussion said he was surprised. Because the victims are willing to risk their lives just for the sake of content.

"It's ironic that our brothers and sisters make content to stop trucks. That's what the amulet is. It's not just Hercules," he said.

Arief said that one of the triggers could come from the habits of a number of people. According to him, not a few people tend to like content that is considered negative.

"Sometimes when we talk to content creators, sometimes they think that our society likes something negative," he concluded.
