Breaking Into A Reflexology Massage Center In Medan Steals AC-CCTV For Money, This Man Is Arrested By The Police

MEDAN - Heri Sinaga alias Apek (46) was arrested by the police for breaking into a reflexology massage parlor. The theft was carried out with his colleague HP who is now a fugitive in Medan Perjuangan, Medan City.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Medan Polrestabes Kompol M Firdaus said Apek was arrested on Thursday, April 7. Apek's theft case was discovered, Tuesday, April 5, in the morning.

"At that time, the reporter received information from an employee named Sania who reported that there had been theft and the loss of items in Reflection 129 belonging to the reporter," said Kompol Firdaus, Friday, April 8.

The victim lost several items such as 2 cell phones, 1 loudspeaker. Then, 1 set of CCTV, 2 sets of AC and Rp2 million in cash.

"Usually the one who lives in that place is a man named Rio. However, on Sunday, April 3, the person concerned said goodbye to his home," he explained.

The victim then reported the incident to the police. The police who received the report immediately launched an investigation.

"From the day of the field investigation and CCTV footage, the officers got the identity of the perpetrators. The perpetrators are Heri Panggabean alias Heri Fat and Heri Sinaga alias Apek," he said.

After that, said Kompol Firdaus, the police received information on Apek's whereabouts, which was known to be on Jalan Mandala, Medan Tembung District. Police hunt and secure Apek.

"To the officers, Apek admitted all the actions he had done with Heri Fat. When he was in action, Apek was in charge of monitoring the situation around the crime scene and helping Heri Fat make theft," he explained.

"However, after successfully carrying out the theft, Apek was not given a share of the stolen proceeds. Then the perpetrator was taken to the Medan Polrestabes to undergo further examination," he continued.

To the police, Apek also admitted that the money from the sale of stolen goods was planned to be used for daily living and buying drugs.

"To account for his actions, the perpetrators will be charged in accordance with Article 363 of the Criminal Code," he concluded.
