KSP Hopes BLT Will Lighten The Burden Of The Community To Buy More Expensive Cooking Oil

The cooking oil BLT that will be distributed by the Government is Rp. 100,000 per month per Beneficiary Family (KPM). BLT will be given in April, May, June 2022. However, the payment will be made at once to Rp. 300 thousand in April 2022.

BLT cooking oil was given to 23 million people. In detail, 20.5 million families are included in the list of recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and the Family Hope Program (PKH), as well as 2.5 million street vendors (PKL).

Abraham explained that the recipients of the cooking oil BLT were people who had been registered in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). DTKS becomes a database that has been synchronized with the Population Identification Number (NIK) and has been verified.

"Thus the distribution of BLT can be right on target, and this is to prevent the potential for duplicate and fictitious data," said Abraham.

He also ensures that the beneficiary communities can spend the aid at any shop or stall. This freedom is given to reduce the potential for the game or monopoly of a number of parties.

“People are free to shop anywhere. But we urge and hope that the BLT will actually be used to buy cooking oil,” said the Main Expert of KSP.
