Serial Accident Cases On The KM 14,200 Jagorawi Toll Road Has Been Completed, The Company Is Willing To Compensate The Damage

JAKARTA - A series of accidents occurred involving a truck and five other cars on the Jagorawi Toll Road KM 14,200 north of the Cibubur area, East Jakarta, Monday, April 4.

Kanit Laka Satlantas Metro Polres East Jakarta, Iptu Seno Wibowo said, the accident began when the truck numbered F 8223 FV driven by a driver with the initials IPS (36), drove from Bogor to Jakarta via the Jagorawi Toll Road.

Arriving at KM 14,200 toll road, the truck hit the back of the taxi with number B 1391 UUA. Then the taxi was pushed and hit an Avanza car with license plate B 1407 SYX, Agya car number F 1074 BI, Ertiga car number B 2523 FMF, and Xenia car number F 1093 DJ.

"Because of the driver's carelessness, he hit the car in front of him, five cars in a row, six with the truck.

As a result of the accident all the vehicles involved were damaged. However, there were no casualties, only material losses," said Iptu Seno, Monday, April 4.

He further said that based on provisional information from the truck driver, the cause of the accident was due to a problem with the truck brakes.

"According to the driver's initial information, there was a problem with the brakes," he said.

The accident case is now over because the truck driver company is willing to compensate for all the damage.

"The damage to all vehicles involved is borne by the truck owner company and by mutual agreement, the case is closed," he said.
