JAKARTA - The famous lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea responded to his report to the Metro Jaya Police with accusations of immorality. Hotman revealed the background of the problem related to the lawyer's misunderstanding.

“What is the story behind the report? Some time ago, Dr. Richard Lee, who was involved in a criminal case at Polda Metro, used the services of a lawyer, this lawyer has broken his legal relationship, meaning that Dr. Richard Lee is no longer using this lawyer," said Hotman Paris via upload on his Instagram account, Monday, April 4.

Now, after breaking up with a lawyer at Polda Metro, Richard Lee came to Hotman's office to discuss the plan to buy and sell shares.

“Because I once bid on Dr Richard Lee's shares in a skincare company. You know I want to be a conglomerate, I said I want to buy your shares posted on my Instagram, "continued Hotman.

This meeting was later discovered by former lawyer Richard Lee. The lawyer continued, Hotman asked Hotman Paris.

“I said I didn't snatch your client. Still not believing, finally met people who were hostile to me," said Hotman.

“Behind the police report, there is a separate story and it is not true that I took the client. You know my client is a large conglomerate company. I didn't steal the client, so if you join in, you have to know the real story. I don't really respond, I don't want to take people on a cruise. I swear to God I didn't steal his client,” said Hotman.

Previously reported, Polda Metro Jaya will summon lawyer Hotman Paris. After he was reported to the police on suspicion of spreading immoral information and electronic documents.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Endra Zulpan said that his party received the report on Saturday, April 2.

"There will be a summons to Hotman. But what is clear is that the report is there, the police have received the report on April 2, who reported it," said Endra when confirmed, Sunday, April 3.

However, before summoning the reported Hotman Paris, his party will call the complainant first. This is to clarify the issue of the report.

"Yes, first of all, we will call the reporter first for clarification, right," he explained.

The Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Intellectual Batak Forum (FBI) previously reported the well-known lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea to the Metro Jaya Police for uploads on social media that were considered immoral.

"Today we are from the FBI DPP accompanied by the general chairman and this Director of LBH has made our police report at the SPKT Polda April 2 at 15:40 WIB with the case of distributing information and electronic documents that contain immoral content," said the head of the FBI, Leo Situmorang.
