DKI Provincial Government Holds A Number Of Ramadan Activities, There Is A Takbiran Night Festival At JIS

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta organizes various activities during the month of Ramadan and Eid prayers 1443 H. These activities are carried out while maintaining health protocols.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Mental and Spiritual Education (Dikmental) Bureau, Gunas Mahdianto, revealed that this activity has the theme "Celebrate Togetherness". There are also charitable activities that aim to foster a spirit of sharing among others.

"We hope that this activity is able to ignite the enthusiasm of the community to continue to be more solemn in worship, increase brotherhood, and enliven the month of Ramadan," Gunas said in his statement, Sunday, April 4.

The activity, which was held by involving various regional apparatus organizations and BUMD DKI Jakarta, was held in a number of locations, one of which was the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

The following are the details of activities to welcome Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1443 which the DKI Provincial Government holds: 1. Uploading Ramadan with leaders of Islamic community institutions and organizations on April 1, 2022.

2. Ramadan ornaments by decorating public spaces, such as logos, banners, special decorations for Ramadan in Jakarta in collaboration with the private sector. Ramadan-themed ornaments from March 26–May 1, 2022, and ornaments with the theme of Eid al-Fitr from May 1–May 14, 2022 in 5 administrative city areas.

3. Ramadan Market and Jazz Festival in the form of a bazaar to stimulate MSME economic activity, as well as music and da'wah performances at Lapangan Banteng on 11–24 April 2022. With collaborators Semasa, localmarket.id, Ramadan Jazz, JFW, Wardah, and Kelas Pagi .

4. Ramadan Market Festival in every Kelurahan by serving iftar food and micro and small business production.

5. Ramadan Special Religious Tour, involving content creators so that the wider public can feel the existence of Islamic civilization in Jakarta.

6. Governor's series of visits to mosques/Islamic boarding schools, and so on.

7. 30 days of completing the Koran, competing to collect rewards and goodness by completing the Koran with regional officials, collaborators, and the general public during the month of Ramadan.

8. Good collaboration in sharing iftar dishes, by providing daily at least 50,000 (fifty thousand) packs which are distributed to mosques, prayer rooms, Transjakarta bus stops, and other public spaces, on April 2–May 1 2022.

9. Ambassador of the Tarawih Prayer, who sent the best 200 people and has been selected to be the Imam of the Tarawih Prayer at the selected mosque on April 2–May 1, 2022.

10. Community collaboration activities, supporting and collaborating on activities initiated by Islamic Religious Institutions during the month of Ramadan.

11. Takbiran Night Festival at Jakarta International Stadium on Eid night.

12. Eid prayer 1443 H at the Jakarta International Stadium.
