Agree To Form A Working Committee For The Narcotics Bill, Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Submits DIM To The Government

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR together with the government agreed to form a Working Committee (Panja) to discuss the revision of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics in a working meeting, Thursday, March 31.

In the working meeting, the government elements who attended were Menkum HAM Yasonna Laoly and representatives from the Ministry of Health and representatives of the KemenPAN RB. Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Prince Khairul Saleh said the formation of this committee was carried out so that the discussion on the revision of the Narcotics Law was more focused and comprehensive. "Do you agree to form a Panja?" Prince said in the DPR Commission III Working Meeting at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, March 31.

All members of Commission III of the DPR RI also expressed their approval for the formation of the Narcotics Bill Working Committee. The chairman of the Panja is Prince Khairul Saleh. All factions in Commission III of the DPR also support and approve the Narcotics Bill to be continued in the next process.

Prince added that the House of Representatives Commission III also submitted a List of Problems Inventory (DIM) of the Narcotics Bill to the government which consisted of, first, the permanent DIM of 66 DIM. Second, there are 13 editorial DIMs. "Thirdly, 10 DIM still need further explanation, the fourth DIM substance is 178 DIM, and fifth, the new substance DIM is 93 DIM," he added.
