Makassar Pilkada: Danny Pomanto Reports Initial Campaign Funds Of IDR 100 Million-none Of IDR 10 Million

JAKARTA - Four pairs of candidates for mayor-deputy mayor of Makassar, South Sulawesi, reported initial campaign funds. Meanwhile, the maximum expenditure limit for campaign funds is IDR 95.6 billion.

"The maximum limit for campaign funds expenditure is Rp95.6 billion," said member of the Makassar KPU, Abdul Rahman, confirmed by VOI, Monday, September 28.

From the initial campaign data reported to Makassar, the pair number one, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) -Fatmawati Rusdi amounted to Rp. 100 million.

Candidate pair number two, Munafri Arifuddin-Abd Rahman Bando, submitted a report on initial campaign funds of Rp10 million. Meanwhile, the pair number three, Syamsu Rizal (Deng Ical) -Fadli Ananda, reported that the initial campaign fund was IDR 30 million.

Meanwhile, the pair of candidates for mayor-deputy mayor number four, Irman Yasin Limpo (None Limpo) -Andi Zunnun Nurdin Halid, reported the initial campaign funds of IDR 10 million.

The announcement of the results of receiving the initial campaign fund reports (LADK) of the participants of the Makassar Mayor-Deputy Mayor election was announced in letter number 1427 / PL.02.5-Pu / 7371 / KPU-Kot / IX / 2020.

"(Campaign funds) are regulated in PKPU Number 5 of 2017 and the amendments in PKPU 12 of 2020," said Abdul.

The campaign stage starts from September 26 to December 5, 2020. In Makassar, there are four campaign zone zones spread across 15 sub-districts throughout Makassar.

Meanwhile, a member of the Makassar KPU, Endang Sari, was quoted by Antara as saying that the rules related to KPU Regulation Number 13/2020 are concerning campaigns. Likewise, it is explained in KPU Regulation No. 11/2020 in article 47 paragraph 2, campaigns in online media.

"Each candidate has a maximum of 20 social media accounts for city districts. Not allowed to exceed the number of accounts," he said.
