JAKARTA - The Gibran Rakabuming Raka campaign was carried out with blusukan online at the Solo Pilkada. With a set of large screens connected to the internet, the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) greets residents in settlements.

According to Gibran, the residents of Surakarta are happy with the virtual campaign innovation carried out to overcome the limitations of face to face to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“People are happy with this innovation and welcome the virtual campaign. It is enough for this tool to come to the Blusukan location accompanied by a field team that does not need many people and is tasked with recording residents' complaints. Complaints data collected in the field can be immediately followed up, ”continued Gibran.

"Yes, it is very beneficial not to cause a lot of crowds because now is the season for COVID," said Dawung Kulon resident Nur Sahid.

Meanwhile, Sarono Slamet said Gibran's online campaign alias blusukan was quite effective. "The reason is reducing the crowd reduces costs, is faster so I'm just glad this supports," he continued.
