The Number Of Violators Starts To Decrease, A Total Of 82 Thousand Persons Arrested During 2 Weeks Of Operation Justisi

JAKARTA - The joint team of TNI, Polri, and Regional Government (Pemda) has been holding Operation Yustisi for two weeks. Based on data on the number of offenders, public awareness began to rise. This is because the number of offenders has decreased.

"Our people see that the number of violations is decreasing day by day," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Monday, September 28.

If we refer to the data as a whole, Operation Justisi, which was carried out from September 14 to 27, recorded 82,884 violators. Most of the sanctions are written warning.

"Then there was a warning, both in writing there were 49,700 (violators) and verbally there were 7,000 (violators)," he said.

Meanwhile, social sanctions such as collecting garbage and so on are applied to 24,671 offenders. While the administrative fines are around 1,473 violators.

"The fine is around Rp 24,170,000, this is for 14 days," said Yusri.

East Jakarta Still Many Violators

Based on the prosecution data, East Jakarta is the area with the most violators. A total of 16,256 people were treated with various sanctions.

"The area of East Jakarta with written reprimands witnesses 11,499 violations, 4,638 social sanctions, and 119 administrative sanctions for violators," said Yusri.

Then in the Central Jakarta area, many violations were recorded. A total of 12,686 people were punished and given sanctions.

"Written reprimands of 5,416 people, verbal reprimands of 2,763 people, and social sanctions of 4,352 people," he said.
