Anies Adds Three Isolation Locations For COVID-19, Near Your Area?

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan added three locations for isolation for special COVID-19 patients in Jakarta. This is because at this time all COVID-19 cases, both people without symptoms (OTG) or those with mild symptoms are prohibited from self-isolating at home.

The determination of these three locations is stipulated in the Governor's Decree (Kepgub) Number 979 of 2020 concerning the Controlled Isolation Locations of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in the Context of Handling COVID-19.

"Decided to determine the location for controlled isolation belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with the list listed in the attachment to this Kepgub," Anies was quoted as saying in the Governor's Decree on Monday, September 28.

The added isolation location is the Jakarta Islamic Center for Studies and Development (Jakarta Islamic Center) in North Jakarta.

Then, other isolation locations are in Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in East Jakarta, and Graha Wisata Ragunan in South Jakarta.

Anies said, DKI residents who will be in isolation in these three locations will not be charged. This is because the cost of managing the isolation will be borne by the DKI Regional Budget.

"The costs required for managing controlled isolation locations in handling COVID-19 are borne by the regional revenue and expenditure budget and / or other legal and non-binding sources in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations," explained Anies.

For information, during PSBB volume two, Anies asked positive patients who were asymptomatic to be isolated in a place designated by the Task Force. Isolation like this is done so that there are no clusters in the housing.

"Positive cases without symptoms must be isolated in a place designated by the Task Force. Independent isolation in residential homes will be avoided to prevent house clusters," said Anies, Sunday, September 13.

"If a positive patient refuses to be isolated, a health worker and law enforcement officers will pick him up," he said.

Anies explained, the location of this isolation was carried out at the Kemayoran Mandiri isolation facility (Wisma Atlet); Hotels, inns or guesthouses; as well as other places designated by the Task Force.

So far, the isolation location for COVID-19 patients with the OTG category and mild symptoms has been placed in Tower 4 and 5 Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, South Jakarta. A number of hotels in Jakarta will also be used as isolation locations.
