JAKARTA - The Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Bintang Puspayoga ensured that there was assistance to recover trauma for the victim of a 15-year-old girl who was raped by three youths in Aceh.

"This case is very concerning for all of us because it caused not only physical injuries but also left severe trauma for the victim, a 15-year-old victim and it is concerning because two of the three perpetrators are still in the category of children, namely under 18 years old," said Minister Bintang Puspayoga in a statement. written statement, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, March 28.

He strongly condemned the rape case. Two of the three perpetrators are known to be under the age of 18. Minister Bintang asked law enforcement officers to provide appropriate legal sanctions for adult perpetrators so that they can provide a deterrent effect for the perpetrators.

However, for perpetrators of child age (admission to children in conflict with the law / ABH) appropriate handling must be carried out and able to provide justice for victims, perpetrators, and society as a whole.

The harassment of the victim occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, March 23 at a motorcycle repair shop and laundry in Aceh Besar District. The victim was raped by three teenagers who were his own friends. The three initials were YA (18), MY (17) and FJH (17).

The perpetrators have been arrested by the Kuta Baro Police of the Banda Aceh Police on suspicion of committing crimes of rape and sexual harassment. The police themselves are currently ensnaring the perpetrators under Article 50 in conjunction with Article 47 of Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law for YES.

Meanwhile, MY and FJH who are still children are charged with Article 50 in conjunction with Article 47 of Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law in conjunction with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System.
