Jokowi: Thank You NTB People, All Parties Who Work Day And Night To Prepare MotoGP 2022

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his gratitude to all parties including the people of NTB who have supported the succession of the international MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit, Sunday, March 20.

Jokowi admits that there are shortcomings here and there and this is a note for improvement for next year.

"Thank you to all the people, especially the people of NTB, who support this world motorcycle racing event. Thank you also to all those who have worked day and night preparing for MotoGP 2022. Indeed, there are still shortcomings, and we will fix them next year," said Jokowi through his official Twitter account, @jokowi, reported by VOI, Sunday, March 20 evening.

Jokowi participated in various small 'surprises' during this event. This is a story for anyone who participates, whether it's the audience, the committee or the racers who appear.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that at first he wanted to witness the agility of the Spanish racer Marc Marques on the Mandalika circuit. Unfortunately, during the warm-up before the match, Marquez was absent.

"I myself was championing Marc Marquez, but in fact he canceled after falling during the warm-up before the race took place. Marquez was absent, then I supported Fabio Quartararo. At the end of the race, it turned out that Fabio won second place. Congratulations," said Jokowi.
