Record Addition Of 130 Cases From 13 Regions, Total COVID-19 Cases In Lampung Reaches 71,553

JAKARTA - The Lampung Health Office (Dinkes) said that 130 additional daily positive cases of COVID-19 in the province came from 13 regions.

"Out of 15 regencies and cities, only Waykanan and Pesisir Barat do not contribute daily cases of COVID-19," said Head of the Lampung Health Service, Reihana, quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 20.

Meanwhile, he continued, 13 other regencies and cities that had daily cases of COVID-19 were Bandarlampung 13, Metro 3, Pringsewu Regency 12, Pesawaran 6, East Lampung 13, West Lampung 7, Mesuji 10, Tanggamus 14, South Lampung 14, North Lampung 5, Central Lampung 16, Tulang Bawang 9 and Tulang Bawang Barat 8.

"With the addition of 130 new COVID-19 positive patients, the total number of cases in Lampung has reached 71,553," he said.

Then, the Kadinkes also said that the death toll from being infected with COVID-19 in Lampung increased by six cases originating from East Lampung 2, Pringsewu 2 and Central Lampung 2.

"Deaths due to COVID-19 have increased to 4,072 from the previous 4,066, after there were six additional cases," he said.

Meanwhile, he also revealed that the number of recovered cases of COVID-19 had also increased to 369, bringing the total to 62,445 positive patients who have been declared cured.

"For suspected COVID-19 cases in Lampung, it has increased by one from the previous 156, currently 157," he said.

Based on data from the Lampung Bappeda, from 15 districts and cities, there are six regions that have orange COVID-19 spread zones, namely West Lampung, West Tulangbawang, Mesuji, Pesawaran, Pringsewu, and East Lampung.

Meanwhile, the yellow zone areas are Bandar Lampung, Metro, South Lampung, Tanggamus, West Coast, Central Lampung, North Lampung, Waykanan, and Tulangbawang.
