Flying To Mandalika, Jokowi Will Present MotoGP Winner Cup

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and Iriana Joko Widodo flew to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) today. Using the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1, Jokowi and a limited entourage took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, at around 10.30 WIB.

Arriving at Lombok International Airport Zainuddin Abdul Madjid, Central Lombok Regency, Jokowi will go directly to the Mandalika Circuit to witness the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP race first hand.

Then, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta will also hand over the trophy to the winner on the podium.

The MotoGP in Mandalika is the second series of the 2022 World Championship after the first series took place in Qatar in early March 2022. In the first series, the Italian rider from the Gresini Racing team, Enea Bastianini won first place.

After that, Jokowi will head to Lombok Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport and take off to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali Province.

In Bali, Jokowi will inaugurate the opening of the 144th Session of The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and other related sessions which will be held at Mangunpura Hall, Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Badung Regency.

Furthermore, Jokowi is also planned to hold a meeting with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Park Byeong-seug. After that, Jokowi will fly back to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang.

During this working visit, Jokowi was also accompanied by SOE Minister Erick Thohir; Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung: Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono: Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono; Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo; and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
