JAKARTA - The suspect in the fraud case under the guise of binary options trading, Indra Kenz apparently once composed a song to invite the public to report allegations of corruption to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The song, entitled Lihat-Lawan-Laporkan (See-Fight-Report), was even uploaded to the KPK RI YouTube account before it was finally deleted.

In the 38-second video that has now been circulating on social media, Indra Kenz is seen wearing a white T-shirt with the words 'See-Fight-Report'.

He sang along with four other people from Indomusicgram. This song contains a message inviting the public to report corruption to the KPK.

Indra Kenz also uploaded a video describing the process of making the song on his YouTube account, Indra Kesuma with the title 'PROFIT FROM TRADING, NOT FROM CORRUPTION! INDRAKENZ ANTI-CORRUPTION!!'.

The 17.54-minute video begins when Indra Kenz opens a cardboard box containing a white shirt which is then used in the video clip 'Lihat-Lawan-Laporkan'.

"So as a society, if we see an alleged act of corruption, if we see a bribe, we can report it," said Indra Kenz in the video viewed Tuesday, March 15.

"Why did we get this shirt? So coincidentally, my father's close friend years ago was a general and finally transferred to the KPK, so he knew I could sing he finally told me to make a song. Make a KPK song. I could make a song but I can't be as cool as Indomusicgram," he added.

The following are the lyrics to the song Lihat-Lawan-Laporkan, sung by Indra Kenz in the circulating video:

Hai kawan sebangsaku, hai kawan sebangsaku

Mari kita amankan masa depan kita

Dari tindak korupsi yang rugikan negara

Ikuti kami begini caranya

Lihat orang suap-menyuap, lawan, laporkan

Lihat yang pemerasan, lawan, laporkan

Gratifikasi dan tindak korupsi lainnya

Lihat lawan laporkan.

(Hi my countrymen, hi my countrymen

Let's secure our future

From acts of corruption that harm the country

Follow us this way

See people bribe, fight, report

See who's blackmail, fight, report

Gratification and other acts of corruption

See fight report).

KPK Denies collaborating

The spotlight on this video appears considering that Indra Kenz is being detained by the police. Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, firmly denied that his party had ever collaborated to create a corruption song, as stated by Indra Kenz.

"Regarding the suspect IK who had a case in the Criminal Investigation Unit, where there were quite a number of YouTubers making anti-corruption songs. We convey that this is not a collaboration between the KPK and the person concerned," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, March 15.

"Indeed, we accommodate, provide opportunities, and invite every element of society according to their abilities and roles to participate in efforts to eradicate corruption by involving themselves through education, prevention, and prosecution efforts," he added.

Ali said there were no costs incurred by the KPK in the process of making the video. However, the anti-corruption commission decided to disseminate it because it was in line with the anti-corruption message.

"There is no funding from the Corruption Eradication Commission related to this because the KPK receives it through the Directorate of Community Participation," he said.

Ali also emphasized that the KPK leaders and other officials at the institution had never had any contact with Indra Kenz. "I don't even know (with Indra Kenz, ed). So, we hope that there are no opinions that take this issue further," he said.

In addition, the KPK also intentionally deleted the song contributed by Indra Kenz from his YouTube account. This abolition was carried out because he had committed an act that was contrary to anti-corruption values.

"KPK is taking further steps by stopping the publication of this song in KPK public communication media. This is a message for all of us, to always uphold our anti-corruption stance," said Ali.

Even so, the KPK will not give up on inviting other parties to work together in efforts to eradicate corruption.

"In the future, we remain committed to continuing to cooperate and invite other parties, whoever and whatever their profession, can participate in various efforts to eradicate corruption," concluded Ali.
