Doni Salmanan Only Needs A Year To Have Abundant Wealth

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police has confiscated Doni Salmanan's assets worth Rp. 64 billion. The wealth was obtained in just a year after becoming an affiliate.

"In the beginning, from 2021 until yesterday, it was 1 year," said the Director of Cyber Crimes at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri, to reporters, Tuesday, March 15.

Some of the assets that have been confiscated from Doni Salmanan are Porsche 911 Carerra 4S, Lamborgini and BMW. Then, eight big motorcycles (MOGE) of various brands.

There are also assets in the form of two houses in the Bandung area, West Java. In fact, investigators also confiscated Doni Salmanan's cash amounting to Rp. 3.3 billion.

Doni's wealth was also obtained from the defeat of the Quotex members. Doni gets a share of 80 percent.

"That is, if the trader loses, 80 percent of the profits will go to the DS. The rest goes to the organizers. If the trader wins, the DS's gain 20 percent," said Asep.

Doni Salmanan has been named a suspect in a binary options fraud case with the Quotex platform.

Thus, Doni Salmanan is suspected of Article 45 paragraph 1 junto 28 paragraph 1 of the ITE Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, and Article 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 8 of 2010 concerning the Eradication of Money Laundering.
