Already Entering The Busway Line, Against Direction, Luxury Sedan Mercedes Benz Bullfighting With TransJakarta Bus

JAKARTA - Teuku Nyak Arif Street, Simprug, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Monday, March 14, at 00.30 WIB, suddenly became crowded after an accident involving a TransJakarta bus and a Mercedes Benz luxury sedan.

According to information, prior to the accident, the TransJakarta bus NRKB B-7747-TGB driven by FHS was traveling from the direction of Harmoni - Lebak Bulus on Jalan Teuku Nyak Arif.

Arriving at the Simpruk flyover in the South Jakarta area, when the bus was going uphill suddenly a Mercedes Benz car with number B 2910 STK was driven by an SNR (female) from the opposite direction. Collision was unavoidable.

Luckily there were no fatalities in the incident. The driver of the Mercedes Benz, SNR, was not injured and only suffered material losses.

After the intersection of the Permata Hijau Artery, the car actually entered the busway lane which was in the opposite direction.

According to information obtained, the driver of the Mercedes Benz allegedly experienced confusion when asked by other drivers at the scene.

When contacted by the Head of Traffic Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sigit said he did not know more about the incident. The reason, the case is handled by the Polda Metro Jaya.

"Laka is in charge of the Polda (Metro Jaya)," he said.
