Polda Metro Jaya Is Still Reviewing The Traffic Flow Scheme During The Jokowi And MotoGP Races

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will prepare a traffic flow scheme when President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and 20 MotoGP racers parade in Jakarta. This scheme is still in the process of being reviewed.

"We will see the details later, including whether there needs to be a traffic closure or so," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Saturday, March 12.

Moreover, Sambodo also said that there was no information regarding the parade route. So, it cannot be confirmed yet and is waiting from the committee.

"Later, how will the details, what time, how, whether there are roads that are closed or not, we will tell you later," he said.

Apart from that, the Polda Metro Jaya emphasized that they would carry out maximum security at the international event. So, later the name of Indonesia will be fragrant in the eyes of the world.

"In essence, we from the Polda Metro Jaya, of course, in particular the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, will be ready to secure the activities of this big event to support the implementation of the MotoGP in Mandalika which will be held in March 2022," said Sambodo

For information, dozens of MotoGP racers will compete with each other at the Mandalika circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, on March 18-20.

Before competing, the racers will hold a parade in Jakarta as a series of promotions. However, there is no name Fabio Quartararo in the group later.

In this parade, big names such as Marc Marquez, Joan Mir, Francesco Bagnaia, Andrea Dovizioso, will bring MotoGP excitement to the capital with a procession that will start and end at the Merdeka Palace.

National racer Mario Aji, who debuted in the Moto3 class this year, as well as Veda Ega Pratama who competed in the Asia Talent Cup, will also enliven the parade with the duet team Pertamina Mandalika SAG; Bo Bendsneyder and Gabriel Rodrigo.
