Mr. RT Said, Dr. Sunardi, Who Was Shot Dead By Densus 88, Never Paid The Residents' Dues Every Month, Even Though It Was Only Rp. 25 Thousand

JAKARTA - The National Police's Anti-Terror Detachment 88 Team shot dead a terrorist suspect named SU alias Sunardi, in the Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. Sunardi, who also works as a doctor, is known as a private person who rarely socializes with residents.

The head of RT 3 RW 7 Bangunsari, Gayam, Sukoharjo, Bambang Pujiana said that Dr. Sunardi was a person who never met with residents. During his tenure as head of the RT, he admitted that he had never attended a meeting that invited residents of the village.

"Since I have held the Chair of the RT since April 2019 until now, I have held community meetings and activities but Pak Nardi never came and never did socialization. Moreover, community service, not at all," said Bambang Pujiana, based on information obtained by VOI from the Cilacap Police, Friday, March 11.

Bambang admitted that he did not know anything about the reason for the absence of one of the residents in every meeting held in his village. In fact, continued Bambang, Sunardi also never paid the RT dues like the general population.

"Not at all (dues). You can check with my treasurer if the name Doctor Sunardi is dues, never. Even though the fee at my place is only Rp. 25 thousand every month on the 10th," he said.

As the head of RT 3 RW 7 Bangunsari, Bambang admitted that he had never communicated with Sunardi. However, he often saw the figure of the doctor when he was praying at the local mosque.

"Never (communication). If I met him, it was at the mosque where I prayed, usually at Maghrib and Isha. When they meet, they never greet each other," he said.

Having no desire to socialize with residents, Bambang decided not to include Sunardi in the WhatsApp group (WAG) of local RT residents. The group functions to convey information and activities related to the environment.

"I also did not include him in the group. He doesn't seem to want to get together with the residents, because it's useless because there's no response whatsoever. If there is any information, it will be through the plot group," he said.
