Head of the Ops Section of the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said the snake was in the kitchen ceiling.

"Received a report of a snake on the ceiling of the house at 03.20 WIB," said Gatot when confirmed, Friday, March 11, morning.

In order to evacuate the snakes, his party deployed 1 unit of a rescue car accompanied by 4 personnel. The initial evacuation started at 03.30 WIB and finished at 03.45 WIB.

"The snake was successfully evacuated. It's a python, about two meters long," he said.

According to the plan, the snakes will be handed over to reptile lovers who are well-known to the ranks of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.
