Investigating Allegations Of Money Laundering Offenses Against The Regent Of Probolinggo, KPK Summons The Head Of The NasDem Faction Of The DKI DPRD, Wibi Adriano

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the chairman of the NasDem Party faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Wibi Adriano, today, Tuesday, March 8. He was summoned to investigate allegations of money laundering and gratuities that ensnared the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Aminuddin.

"Today is the examination of TPK witnesses related to the selection within the Probolinggo Regency government in 2021, TPPU, and gratuities for PTS and friends," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri in a written statement, Tuesday, March 8.

"On behalf of witness Wibi Andrino, Chairman of the NasDem Faction of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD for the 2019-2024 period," he added.

Ali hopes that Wibi can attend and be examined by KPK investigators. This is because his statement is needed to shed light on the case against Puput and her husband.

As previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption committed by Puput and Hasan and other parties related to allegations of bribery in the sale and purchase of positions, gratuities, and money laundering (TPPU).

In the bribery case of buying and selling positions, the anti-corruption commission has named 22 people as suspects. They consist of 4 bribe recipients and 18 bribe givers.

The bribes given by ASN in the Probolinggo Regency Government are carried out so that they can serve as village head officials. Each person is required to pay Rp. 20 million and the village land tribute of Rp. 5 million per hectare.

The four recipients were Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, DPR member Hasan Aminuddin, Krejengan Sub-district Head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton Sub-district Head Muhamad Ridwan.

Meanwhile, 18 donors namely Sumanto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, Mashudi, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin as suspects giver.
