NTT Prosecutor's Office Focuses On Investigating The Corruption Case Of Government-Owned Assets

NTT - Head of the High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) of East Nusa Tenggara Province, Hutama Wisnu, stated that while he was the head of the prosecutor's office in this island-based province, in handling the law, his party remained focused on corruption cases of government assets.

"Of course, things that indicate an element of corruption, such as in the case of corruption in government-owned land and building assets, remain our concern," said the Head of NTT, Hutama Wisnu, to reporters at the NTT High Prosecutor's Office in Kupang, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 7.

He said that the Prosecutor's Office and the NTT Government already have a mutual agreement in handling the law related to cases of government assets.

According to the former deputy head of the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, if an investigation into a corruption case reveals an indication of state losses, it will be processed according to the applicable legal mechanism.

"Any case that has indications of corruption will certainly be investigated. If it is supported by two strong pieces of evidence, we will certainly process it," he said.

NTT Kajati Hutama Wisnu said eradicating corruption had become his commitment to upholding the law in the NTT region.

"We will provide assistance to government officials in preventing corruption," he said.

Hutama Wisnu hopes that there will be support from the NTT community to participate in guarding all legal processes carried out by the prosecutor so that they can be processed completely.
