DPRD Gerindra Faction Says DKI ASN Don't Have To Buy Formula E Tickets

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra Faction, M Taufik, said that the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) would not be required to buy tickets to watch Formula E.

He said this after reviewing the location of the circuit construction in the Ancol area, North Jakarta. "There is no need for (ASN) to buy Formula E tickets," said Taufik at the location, Sunday, March 6.

Moreover, Taufik believes that sales of Formula E tickets will continue to sell well when they are opened, even though there is no obligation to buy tickets for ASN. Because, Taufik claims the public is quite enthusiastic to watch the electric car racing event.

"I think people want international activities. I'm sure there will be a lot of visitors," he said.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto said ticket sales are targeted to start this month. "Around March we launched. There have been a lot of requests (to buy tickets)," said Widi.

Vice Managing Director of Formula E PT Jakpro Gunung Kartiko leaked the price range for Formula E spectator tickets that will be sold. Gunung said tickets to watch the electric car race were opened from hundreds of thousands to millions of rupiah. However, Gunung did not explain in detail the nominal tariff.

"It's affordable, (the lowest price for Formula E tickets) is hundreds of thousands. (The highest) up to millions," said Gunung when met at the DKI DPRD building.

For information, currently working on the Formula E circuit has reached 52 percent. The construction of the track was carried out by PT Jaya Konstruksi using the Jakpro company budget of Rp. 60 billion.
