'Magic' Ganjar Pranowo Posts Beauty Of Dusun Girpair Klaten On Social Media: Lots Of Tourists, Turnover Increases By IDR 75 Million/Month

KLATEN - Unexpectedly, a village located on the slopes of Mount Bibi in Klaten Regency became crowded with tourists. Even now it is able to collect income from tourist activities reaching IDR 75 million per month.

Yes, that is Tegalmulyo Village, Kemalang District, Klaten Regency. Located at the very end, this village has a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Coupled with a suspension bridge and gondolas which are access for the residents of Girpair Hamlet, which are separated by cliffs.

The crowds of people traveling began when the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo visited Girpair. Ganjar shared the experience at Girpair through his social media accounts. Finally, many tourists flock to this village.

Angga, a tourist from Magelang, admitted that he came to Girpair out of curiosity after seeing Ganjar's social media. "I really wanted to play here, after learning about Pak Ganjar's social media," said Angga, Sunday, March 6. According to him, Gir Pasang Tourism is good because it has a suspension bridge and also a gondola.

"It's a good place. From a long journey, it finally paid off to get here," he explained.

The head of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of Tegalmulyo Village, Subur said that the residents' dream to make Tegalmulyo a tourist village was realized thanks to the Governor.

"We have wanted to make a tourist village for a long time. But it was realized thanks to Mr. Ganjar. After visiting here, it finally became crowded and became a tourist spot," he said.

Currently, Subur added, Pokdarwis is able to collect income of IDR 75 million per month from tourism activities.

"The income from the gondola is around Rp. 75 million per month. The ticket goes up for Rp. 100 thousand per person," he explained.

He hoped that the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, could return to his village.

"All this is a hard effort from Mr. Ganjar. We hope to come here, we want to express our gratitude directly to him," he said.
