Polri's Body At Pondok Ranggon Was Taken To The National Police Hospital For An Autopsy

JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that his party was still investigating the discovery of the body of a man with the initials AB who was suspected of being a police officer on Jalan Sapi Perah, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.

Thus, his party could not confirm the cause of AB's death. The police are currently still collecting evidence from the field.

"It's still processing the TKP and being investigated," said Yusri to the media crew, Jakarta, Thursday, September 17.

According to Awi, currently the body has been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy. From there, he said, only the cause of AB's death could be concluded.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Metro Deputy Police Chief, AKBP Stevanus Tamuntuan added, later from the autopsy results, the cause of ABW's death could be confirmed. Including the matter of alleged injuries caused by sharp weapons.

"The forensic doctor determines what injuries result," he said.

Previously it was reported, a body suspected of being a police officer was found dead with a number of wounds on his body lying on Jalan Sapi Perah, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.

"Yes, that's right, I am still at the crime scene (TKP) to check on the victim's condition and seek witness testimony," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at Cipayung Police, AKP Tri Sambodo, Jakarta, Thursday, September 17.

Tri has yet to give further comment regarding the incident because the victim is still under intensive police handling.

"Later, after everything we get, we will inform," he said.
