The owner of the car, Fitri (30) said that he discovered the theft of the pickup in the morning.
"At that time I opened the window at 06.30 in the morning, the fence was just open. I was surprised," Fitri said, Friday, March 4.
Seeing the car was gone, Fitri then woke her husband. She and her husband went out and asked other residents.
"I woke up my husband, how come the car isn't there. Then we went out, we asked everyone near the house, no one knew," he continued.
Fitri said that it was very likely that the perpetrators could steal his car by breaking the fence padlock. Then the assailants pushed the car out.
"The padlock (fence) was damaged. He was pushed, slowly he got out of the house," he explained.
After that the victim saw CCTV footage belonging to a neighbor. The thief did take his pickup.
"There is a neighbor who has CCTV, we immediately tracked it and reported it to the police," he said.
Separately, the Asahan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Rahmadani, confirmed the incident when confirmed. The victim has already made a report
