Police Arrest Female Mutilation Perpetrators Whose Bodies Are Kept In Kalibata City

JAKARTA - The police have arrested the alleged perpetrator of the murder of the woman whose body was found in the Kalibata City apartment, South Jakarta. The perpetrator of this female mutilation was arrested in Depok, West Java.

"The perpetrator was arrested by the Polda in Depok," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pancoran Police, Iptu Supardi to reporters, Wednesday, September 16.

However, regarding the identity of the perpetrator, Supardi did not mention. According to him, the perpetrator had already been brought to the Polda Metro for intensive examination.

"Now the perpetrators have been brought to the Regional Police," he said.

The existence of this mutilation victim originated from information received by the police about the discovery of a corpse. This report was received by the police on 9 September.

"Yesterday the information was a corpse, we were not looking for it, finally found out. The one who arrested (the perpetrator) Polda," continued Supardi.

The body of this woman was found in one of the 16th floor units of the Kalibata City apartment. The perpetrator is said to have deliberately kept the victim's mutilated body for several days. It is suspected that the murder took place in the West Jakarta area.

"On the 16th floor, his body was stored here, where the perpetrator put the victim. Apparently the corpse has been several days, "he continued.
