Head Of Sukamiskin Headquarters Corrects Setya Novanto's Dispute With Ex-Secretary Of The Supreme Court Nurhadi

BANDUNG - The head of the Sukamiskin Correctional Institution (Lapas) Elly Yuzar straightened out the issue of an incident between correctional inmates (WBP) involving the convicted e-KTP corruption convict Setya Novanto in prison.

He emphasized that the inmate who experienced the incident was not Setya Novanto, but the inmate who was close to the former chairman of the DPR, namely the former Director of PT Murakabi Sejahtera Irvanto Hendra Pambudi Cahyo and Amiril Mukminin, the former personal secretary of former KKP Minister Edhy Prabowo.

"There is no dispute between Pak Setnov and Nurhadi in prison, because they have been friends for a long time. There is a difference of understanding between their close people. So it's just a misunderstanding," said Elly in Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 2.

According to him, Amiril Mukmini is a close person to the former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi. However, according to him, the dispute was resolved three weeks ago.

He confirmed that his party immediately took action on the incident. According to him, Irvanto who was involved in the incident was immediately sentenced to confinement in his cell for six days.

Kalapas also denied the issue of paying Rp900 million to renovate Nurhadi's room.

"Nothing, all the costs for renovating Mr. Nurhadi's room are carried out by the service and not personal costs like the news circulating. Because the toilet in Pak Nurhadi's room was jammed, so it had to be repaired. So there is no payment from the inmates, let alone up to 900 million as rumored, "said Elly.

Previously, it was reported that the convict of the e-KTP corruption case, Setya Novanto, and the former Secretary of the Supreme Court, Nurhadi, had a dispute at the Sukamiskin Prison. The Directorate General of Corrections also confirmed this.

"The dispute is over, it's an old incident," said Head of Public Relations and Protocol of the Directorate General of Corrections (Pas) Rika Apriyanti.
