Two Groups Of Students In Ciracas Attack Each Other, One Person Falls And Is Bombarded With Sickles, Residents Are Afraid To Break Up

JAKARTA - Two groups of students were involved in a brawl in Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, East Jakarta. As a result of the brawl, one student was injured after being hit by a sickle.

The students who were equipped with large sickles were involved in attacking each other. The brawl was also caught on amateur video.

In addition, the students involved in the brawl also brought blunt objects such as stones and wood. In the video, one of the students fell while running, then was chased by his enemy and stabbed by a sharp weapon.

According to Erni, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, the brawl did not last long and managed to disperse.

"Students, on this road carry machetes, sickles and wood. We residents are afraid to go out. They run," he told reporters at the location, Tuesday, March 1.

His party also felt worried and haunted by fear when there was a brawl between teenagers with sharp weapons. Residents are afraid of being the target of violence.

"Residents are afraid, they are afraid that they will miss the target. They are really worried about the brawl. There is also a noon-prone hour. Hopefully, the authorities will monitor this area," he said.

Erni added, brawls in the area have often occurred and always cause unrest.

"Students fight (here) often, day and night. Many people ride motorbikes and walk. (slashed) There, when he fell, he was hit with a machete or something, but he also ran, "said Erni.
