Refusing To Pay For Drinks And Hitting A Security Guard, A Tourist From France In Mandalika Is Arrested By The Police

PRAYA - Police arrested a tourist from France with the initials AKJ (34) after making a fuss and hitting a restaurant security guard with a car in the Mandalika area, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

"The alleged perpetrator has been detained for further legal proceedings," said the Head of the Mandalika Regional Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police, I Made Dimas, in Praya, as reported by Antara, Monday, February 28.

The incident began when the suspect and his two female friends came to drink at the restaurant.

After finishing drinking, the perpetrator did not want to pay and tried to run away using a car and hit a security guard and injured him.

Not only that, while on the way to escape, the perpetrator had hit a vehicle on Bangkat Parak Village Street, Pujut District.

"The alleged perpetrator did not want to pay for his drink, then fled in a car and hit a security guard who tried to block him," said the police chief.

The police then carried out an investigation, then arrested the perpetrator without a fight.

"The alleged perpetrator was secured in the East Praya area with the assistance of local police personnel," he said.

After being secured, the suspect was then taken to the Central Lombok Police Office for further examination and investigation.

"Members are still investigating the perpetrators," he said.
