Girl With A Tumor Who Was Visited By The National Police Chief Successfully Undergoes Amputation Surgery

JAKARTA - Sinta Aulia Mualidiyah, a girl with a leg tumor from Rembang, Central Java, who was met by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has undergone amputation surgery. The operation process went smoothly.

"Alhamdulillah, at 12.30 WIB the operation was completed and Ananda (Sinta, ed) is currently after surgery and is aware that he is safe from any threats from the postoperative period," said Head of the Bhayangkara Police Hospital Brigadier General Asep Hendradiana to reporters, Wednesday, February 23.

Currently, Sinta is already in the treatment room. Where, his health condition will continue to be monitored.

"We plan to monitor it in one or two days to anticipate all threats," said Asep.

In addition, the RSCM Consultant, Prof. Dr. dr. Achmad Fauzi Kamal Sp OT, said that amputation surgery is one way to do it. Because the tumor on the 10-year-old boy's leg was quite large.

"According to our plan, we carried out an operation on Ananda Sinta, so amputation is an option that we conveyed yesterday, amputation as high as the groin," said Fauzi.

With this amputation surgery, it is hoped that the tumor that had been torturing this little girl will disappear completely. Thus, Sinta's health condition will improve.

"Hopefully it doesn't come back another day," said Fauzi.

Sinta Aulia went viral on social media after a video of her wearing a little police uniform posted a photo of the National Police Chief next to her, asking the National Police Chief for help to get treatment so she could recover as usual.

The National Police Chief responded to the video by directly making a video call with Sinta, and listening to the 10-year-old girl's wishes.

The National Police Chief also assigned his staff to take Sinta by helicopter to the Police Hospital, in order to get treatment from the best team of doctors.
