Police Chief Promoted Faisal Heluth Who Fell To Duty As A Posthumous Brigadier

AMBON - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued two decrees for the late Brigadier Mohamad Faisal Akmi Heluth, who died at the National Police Central Hospital, Kramat Jati, Jakarta.

The two decrees issued by the National Police Chief were first to declare Brigadier Mohamad Faisal Akmi Heluth dead while on duty and second to Post Extraordinary Promotion (KPLBA) one level higher than the previous rank of Brigadier General to Brigadier Posthumous.

The Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Police, Kombes M. Rum Ohoirat, said Wednesday that the two decisions signed by the National Police Chief on 22 February 2022 were numbered: Kep/248/II/2022 concerning Decisions to Dismiss in carrying out their duties and Kep/249/II/2022 concerning KPLBA.

"On the proposal from the Maluku Police Chief, today the National Police Chief has signed two decisions, first the deceased was declared dead in carrying out his duties, then the second, the deceased was promoted one level higher to Posthumous Brigadier," said Roem, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 23. .

The late Brigadier Posthumous Mohamad Faisal Akmi Heluth, was declared dead while carrying out the task of securing conflict on Haruku Island.

He was shot by an unknown person while trying to resolve the conflict between residents that occurred on Wednesday, January 26 on Haruku Island.

Having received medical treatment at the Maluku Police Bhayangkara Hospital in Ambon City, the deceased was then referred to the National Police Central Hospital (RSPP), Kramat Jati, Jakarta on January 31, 2022.

After 22 days of receiving medical treatment at the RSPP in Kramat Jati, Jakarta, the best member of the Ambon Island Police and Lease Islands Police, the Maluku Regional Police, breathed his last on Tuesday, February 22 morning.
