TANGERANG - A man named Sarman is suspected of molesting his neighbor, Eko Supriyadi, with a hoe. As a result, Eko suffered serious injuries to the head. According to information, the commotion started when the victim was burning trash.

The Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang Metro Police, Kompol Abdul Rachim, confirmed the incident. Rachim said the incident occurred in the East Sepatan area, Tangerang Regency, Monday, February 21, at 10.00 WIB.

The incident started when Eko burned trash in front of his house. Suddenly the perpetrator came to the victim and immediately hit him with a hoe twice.

"Suddenly, a suspect who was still a neighbor came up with a hoe and hit the hoe against the victim's head twice," said Rachim when confirmed, Wednesday, February 23.

Neighbors who saw the incident immediately helped the victim to be rushed to Pakuhaji General Hospital, Tangerang Regency for treatment.

Meanwhile, the suspect was arrested by residents and handed over to the police. Rachim said, based on information from his neighbors, the perpetrator had a mental disorder.

"The neighbors said that the suspect Sarman had a mental disorder. A mental health examination will be carried out," concluded Rachim.
