JAKARTA - The price of beef at Kramat Jati Market has increased by Rp. 10 thousand. According to meat traders, the increase has occurred since one week ago.

"It's been going up for a week, at first it was 120 thousand per kilogram, now it's 130 thousand," beef trader Ranta Wijaya told reporters, Tuesday, February 22.

Meanwhile, the price of chicken meat at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, is still relatively normal.

Chicken meat trader, Moh, said that the price was still around Rp. 25,000 to Rp. 38,000 per head.

"It has gone up in the past week. The onion has also gone up, usually selling for 25-30 thousand per kilogram, now it's 40 thousand," he said.
