Police Who Fell From An Angkot In Matraman Depressed

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Metro Police said that Bripda Syarif Hidayatullah (25) who fell from a city transportation (angkot) became depressed. The condition of the police was known after examination.

"Yes (depression, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan when confirmed, Friday, February 18.

However, Zulpan could not confirm when Bripda Syarif Hidayatullah had experienced depression.

"I need time to check," said Zulpan.

According to Zulpan, Bripda Syarif is assigned to the North Jakarta Police. However, there is no detail about the unit in which he is assigned.

"Yes, he is a member of the Jakut Police," said Zulpan.

As previously reported, suspected of being depressed, a member of the National Police jumped from a public transportation in the Matraman area, East Jakarta, Thursday 17 February. The victim suffered serious head injuries.

Before being found lying on the asphalt, Bripda Syarif Hidayatullah fell from his motorbike in the Kampung Melayu area, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

After falling, the victim ran while confused. In fact, this member of the Police tried to stop a number of vehicles, including Transjakarta buses.
